We are the engine behind Glyn Ceiriog's annual Carnival and regular Bingo

The Carnival Committee founded in 2002 has gone from strength to strength,

Every year we plan numerous Fund Raising events for the Ceiriog Valley, one of the Events being our heart and sole, the Annual Glyn Ceiriog Carnival.

The Carnival of which is held on Glyn Ceiriog Recreation Park comprises of numerous games and stalls to keep you entertained.

With games such as Wellie Wangin, Races, Bowling, and Coconut Shy for you to win prizes on and see if you can beat the high scores.

The Carnival is home to our annual Balloon Race, Raffle and Crowning of the Carnival King / Queen.

The Day is not about raising money for Charities, it is about having fun and enjoying a beautiful day with your friends and family.

 

The Carnival is not just about money though. We are all here to have fun, which is why we have keep the prices as low as possible, to make sure you get good value for your money and everyone enjoys themselves. If you have any ideas for improving the event please let us know

We always need volunteers for the work that has to be done for the six months before the day. If you could give a little time to help, please contact a member of the Fund raising Group. 

 

The Glyn Ceiriog Carnival Committee are the brains behind the Carnival.

Every year the committee get together and start to plan the carnival, with a team of keen helpers within the valley, Jim Bibby, pictured below, has now retired as the committee Chairman and now gives advice to the new Chairman, Jeff Davies. Jeff sits at a table in the Glyn Valley hotel, to chair over the team and decide what the next carnival will hold.
